This kachina doll is a representation of Suluwhutsi or Fire God. Kachina dolls are carefully hand-carved from the root of the Cottonwood tree. Old style kachina dolls like this one are intended to be hung on a wall and come with a string to do so. This kachina doll is 8.5" tall and 3" wide.
