Cimmaron Graver

This is a very unique and rare "Puppet Style" doll.  The arms and leg move freely on their own, which adds an animated quality to it.  It depicts the happy grandmother, who is the Kachina known to teach the children about language and culture.  She is a supporting presence to have around. This is a traditional Hopi Kachina doll carved from cottonwood tree root and painted with natural mineral pigment. Unique style with moveable limbs. 12 inches tall.
